Flat Glenn is quite tired from his busy week in San Francisco. Let's get started... Here's the picture everyone is expecting:
Here's another one without the splashing water:

This trip wasn't all pleasure... Glenn is a technology guy, he loves his iPod. Here's a picture outside the two-story iPod store:
Then we went to work. This is the annual Gartner IT Expo:
Conventions aren't all work though... here's a wonderful spot on the convention floor that Flat Glenn dragged me to:
Then Glenn wanted to update his sports knowledge so we went to AT&T Park, the home of Barry Bonds (Flat Glenn didn't realize that the Giants were in Los Angeles this week)

Walking around the city we found a few other landmarks. Here are two pictures from Union Square:
This is the Palace of Fine Arts.

Now for some more sightseeing. Here's Flat Glenn pointing out Alcatraz (the island in the background):
Flat Glenn decided to hang around Lombard Street:
Here's a view of Lombard Street, that zig-zag car chase street seen in many old, really old movies:

| I couldn't take Flat Glenn everywhere, so I wasn't able to get him on a trolley car, or down at Fishermans' Wharf. Maybe Glennbecky can get those when she goes out west? |

Excellent job! You have set the bar high for the rest of us. Have you submitted any of these for "Picture of the Day"? |

Very nice pictures! Flat Glenn is really getting the royal treatment. It looks like the weather was wonderful.
Thanks, Cannonball!
I especially like this one, because his other trips will more than likely be in a UPS or USPS cargo plane. No window seat on those flights.
Now it is back to San Antonio where Insider Skwirls awaits....
wonder what she has in mind for Flat Glenn?

He is still in San Antonio. Next he is heading to Fort Hood, Texas and hopefully Houston before joining the Insiders in PA at the PIC. Then he will be going to Omaha. I don't want to make a fixed schedule in case there are holdups along the way. I do have a list of interested parties and addresses which is ordered based on who showed interest first. And I want to try to have personal handoffs whenever possible. |

Can I just say that I LOVE the way Glenn seems to be doing (with his hand gesture) his "Vanna White" in all the pictures!
"And here we have The Alamo"
"And here we have sculpture"
"And to your left we see some Blue bonnets"
It just cracks me up, but I'm easily entertained! |
